About Cladrastis Kentukea
Known as American Yellow Wood. Native to Southern part of North America. Wisteria-like white, fragrant flowers with yellow at the centers in early summer. The pinnate leaves are pale green in spring and summer turning butter yellow in autumn. Fertile, well drained soil will tolerant of dry soil conditions.Grows best in sheltered position out of the strong winds and late frosts when the flower buds are forming.Grow as shrub but can also be grown as tree.
